Students For Life Club travels to Washington DC!

DCC students are both passionate and active in promoting the respect for all human life and spreading awareness about human rights initiatives.  Hence, a well planned trip to Washington DC to attend the National March for Life was a perfect representation of the mission of faith at DuBois Central Catholic School and within our Catholic community.

At a rally before the National March for Life, students heard from abortion survivors, members of congress and the senate, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and Vice President JD Vance.  The trip proved to be both purpose driven and educational for our DCC students.

DCC’s attendance was made possible thanks to generous donations from the DuBois and Brockway Knights of Columbus and former DCC teacher, Mary Ann Piccirillo.

Students For Life is one of the many activity club offerings at DCC that make our students well-rounded and involved in community.  The club has made significant traction over the past 2-years hosting human rights guest speakers at DCC, participating in the prolife movement, addressing stigmas surrounding human rights, participating in human rights school marches, and raising funds to support a crisis center for pregnant women.
