2025 Homecoming Court

DuBois Central Catholic School recently recognized the 2025 Homecoming Court which included student representatives from each high school grade level.  DCC student representation at each grade level has been a homecoming celebration tradition at the school.  Senior students contend for the title of queen and king.  This year’s homecoming queen and king were Hope Jacob and Johnny Varischetti.

DCC Alumni Lauren Davidson and Matt Volpe, the 2024 Homecoming queen and king, were present to crown this year’s court.  Davidson is currently attending Penn State Altoona where she plays college softball and is studying nursing.  Volpe is attending Penn State DuBois and majoring in accounting.

Student representatives voted onto the 2025 Homecoming Court included:

Freshman, Farren Lonesky and Alex Pentz:  Farren is the daughter of LeaAnn and Greg Lonesky. Her activities include volleyball, basketball, and student council.  Alex is the son of Kelly and Stacy Pentz.  He is a member of the soccer team.

Sophomores, Elizabeth Green and Mason Tyler:  Elizabeth is the daughter of Missy and Rick Green.  Her activities include volleyball, softball, student council, mock trial, cardinal ambassador, rotary interact, and eucharistic minister.  Mason is the son of Kevin and Kathy Tyler.  He is a member of the baseball team.

Juniors, Julia Sebring and Anthony Holdren:  Julia is the daughter of William and Shelly Sebring.  Her activities include basketball, track and field, rotary interact, student council, and eucharistic minister.  Anthony is the son of Todd and Karen Holdren.  His activities include basketball and DECA business chapter.

Seniors, Emma Elensky and Johnny Varischetti (2025 King):  Emma is the son of Erik and Jacquie Elensky.  She is captain for both basketball and volleyball, and is a member of the softball team, National Honor Society, student council, and rotary interact.  Johnny is the son of Peter and Sharon Varischetti.  He is a captain on the Brockway football team, vice president of student council, and a member of the National Honor Society.  Johnny’s activities include mock trial, baseball, and track and field.

Seniors, Hope Jacob (2025 Queen) and Marek Hoyt:  Hope is the daughter of Joe and Elaine Jacob.  Her activities include captain of the basketball team, track and field, National Honor Society, student council, mock trial, rotary interact, and eucharistic minister.  Marek is the son of Marc and Wendy Hoyt.  He is the captain of the basketball team.  His activities include golf, track and field, and baseball.

Seniors, Sydney MacCready and Peyton Suplizio:  Sydney is the daughter of Allison Donahue and Robert MacCready.  Her activities include student council and being captain of the Brockway cheerleading squad.  Peyton is the son of Nick and Brandi Suplizio.  His activities include National Honor Society, student council president, golf, track and field, cross country, and mock trial.  Peyton also serves as a volunteer fireman.
