Host families receive $1,000 per month in the form of a financial stipend to offset living costs associated with hosting international students. For example, the monthly stipend can be used to offset utility, food, housing, and transportation costs. International students are hosted by families for a 10-month period, or less.
Host families are NOT required to be Catholic or affiliated with the DuBois Central Catholic School. We welcome host families of any faith denomination and ethnicity that can provide suitable housing accommodations for our international students.
Hosting opportunities are open to the general public, but it is preferred that their homes be located within reasonable proximity to the DuBois Central Catholic School, located within the DuBois or Brockway School Districts.
